Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, declared that the Parliament would not presently scrutinize the Draft Labour Code
In the interview to Rada television channel, the Head of the Parliament stated that he had received appeals on the presence of the representatives of the non-governmental organizations at the Conciliative Council on 15 November. He was also informed about the plans to block the building of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to prevent adoption of the Labour Code.
"I would like to declare: The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will not presently scrutinize the draft Labour Code," V.Lytvyn stated. "Tensions are being heated up." "There are already ample reasons for the public dissatisfaction."
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deems necessary to tackle the pressing issues. First and foremost, the work over the Tax Code shall be completed, and the State Budget for the next year shall be scrutinized due to a complicated economic situation.
